Did you know that Lake County has an extremely high percentage of the invasive European Buckthorn?  It’s possible that you have this destructive shrub on your property.  Early control will improve your landscape’s health, and keep it from spreading to nearby natural areas.

You will learn:

  • What causes buckthorn to be so destructive and so easily spread.
  • How to identify this shrub by its bark, leaves and berries.
  • How to control it mechanically or chemically.
  • The wide array of replacement shrubs.

All programs are free and each program is the same.   They are offered at various times/days to accommodate your schedule. Register below for the session that works best for you.
