Our Achievements
-
Since 2007, our volunteer habitat restoration program has rehabilitated over ten acres of oak woodland, providing a thriving habitat for wildlife and a beautiful space for public enjoyment.
-
We’ve mentored countless boy and girl scouts, helping them achieve advanced levels of badges and ranks while instilling a love for nature and conservation.
-
Our organization provides valuable service hours for local schools, businesses, churches, and service programs, including the National Honor Society, fostering a spirit of community and giving back.
-
We’ve offered educational scholarships to local municipal staff, investing in the training and development of future environmental leaders in our community.
-
Through sponsored outdoor education classes, we’ve provided valuable learning opportunities for community residents, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to appreciate and protect our natural world.
-
We’ve collaborated with the National Fish & Wildlife Service to develop our first local Save the Monarch Program, taking concrete steps to protect these iconic butterflies and their habitats.
Kuechmann Kove
Kuechmann Kove is a planned nature playscape at Kuechmann Arboretum, designed to inspire creativity and outdoor play in a natural setting. Featuring native plants, trees, and natural elements, this playscape aims to provide children with a space for unstructured exploration and imagination. With the support of community experts and a vision to enhance local connections, Kuechmann Kove will serve as a lasting, eco-friendly recreational area that encourages kids to engage with nature, while fostering community involvement for generations to come.
