Oak Ridge Marsh Workday
Come join us at Oak Ridge Marsh this Sunday! We will be pulling Dames Rocket, a prolific woodland week, to keep it from crowding out spring ephemerals.
There is a small parking lot at the Marsh, with a larger lot just down the street at the playground.
We will be off trail so wear those long pants, socks and close toed shoes. Gloves can be provided if needed.
Lake Zurich Farmers Market
Join us this Friday (6/6) at the Lake Zurich Farmers Market. We will be joined by the Morten Arboretum and have a kids craft activity available!
Sunday Volunteer Workdays at Kuechmann Arboretum
We are working 9:45am -12pm on Sundays through April (4/21 and 4/28) at Kuechmann Arboretum (KA).
Help keep our green spaces healthy! Please wear clothes that can get dirty. Bring gardening gloves. Bring a bottle of water. Get ready to weed Garlic Mustard and Dame’s Rocket, two invasive plants in our woodland. Easy to pull! THERE WILL BE SNACKS!

Join us at the main entrance to Kuechmann Arboretum. The entrance is just south of Bobbers and next to the large white and black house. See attached map. There is a parking lot.
If you are under 18, please also bring the waiver above filled out and signed by a guardian or parent. If your parent/guardian drops you off to the workday you may have them sign our waiver then. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
