What We’ve Achieved:
- Restored Ten Acres of Oak Woodland
Since 2007, our volunteer habitat restoration program has rehabilitated over ten acres of oak woodland, providing a thriving habitat for wildlife and a beautiful space for public enjoyment. - Empowering the Next Generation
We’ve mentored countless boy and girl scouts, helping them achieve advanced levels of badges and ranks while instilling a love for nature and conservation. - Community Service at Its Finest
Our organization provides valuable service hours for local schools, businesses, churches, and service programs, including the National Honor Society, fostering a spirit of community and giving back. - Investing in Education
We’ve offered educational scholarships to local municipal staff, investing in the training and development of future environmental leaders in our community. - Outdoor Education for All
Through sponsored outdoor education classes, we’ve provided valuable learning opportunities for community residents, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to appreciate and protect our natural world. - Saving the Monarchs Together

Kuechmann Arboretum
Restoration has been completed and we have added a nature playscape. All of this oak woodland has been improved by removing invasives and replanting native flower and grass seed.

Oak Ridge Marsh Nature Park
We are in our 15th year and have completed the habitat restoration. Our volunteers have removed invasives from eight acres of this rare oak woodland. A self-guided nature walk provides an informative look at Wild Lake Zurich.
