14 birders attended the AOF sponsored “Birds and Breakfast” on May 2. The weather was wonderful and the birds were very cooperative. Stacey Iwanicki of the Illinois Dept. of Natural Resources led us through several bird habitats. We identified 25 different species from the stately sand hill crane to the tiny but energetic blue gray gnatchatcher.
